Southeast Asia Regional Semifinal Concluded

The 2025 Southeast Asia Regional Semifinal of the Magnolia International Music Festival has officially concluded. We thank all participants for their passion and support, and we invite you to stay engaged with upcoming festival events.

This year’s Asia-Pacific Music Exchange and Grand Finals will feature a new interactive judging format:
🎼 After each performance and scoring session, students will engage in face-to-face dialogue with the judges, receiving personalized artistic guidance from renowned masters. This enriches the competition experience and helps young musicians refine their skills.

🎖 We are honored to welcome the following distinguished masters to the Grand Finals:

  • Prof. Dai Xiaolian (Guqin) – National First-Class Musician, National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor

  • Prof. Wang Wei (Guzheng) – National First-Class Musician, Doctoral Advisor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music

  • Prof. Wei Wei (Zhongruan) – National First-Class Musician, National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor, Doctoral Advisor

  • Prof. Li Lingling (Yangqin) – National First-Class Musician, National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor, Vice President of the World Yangqin Association, Doctoral Advisor

  • Prof. Tang Junqiao (Bamboo Flute) – National First-Class Musician, Doctoral Advisor

  • Prof. Chen Chunyuan (Erhu) – National First-Class Musician, Deputy Director of Chinese Music Department, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Doctoral Advisor

  • Prof. Wei Song (Tenor) – One of China’s top three bel canto tenors, with extensive opera and concert experience

  • Prof. Fang Qiong (Soprano) – Professor and Doctoral Advisor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music

  • Prof. Jiang Chen (Piano) – Head of Piano Department, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, authority in piano performance and pedagogy

在今年的亚太区决赛中，我们将采用全新的互动评审机制：
🎼 每位参赛学生在演奏结束并完成评分后，将与评委大师进行面对面交流，获得点对点的艺术指导。这不仅丰富了比赛体验，也为选手们提供了宝贵的学习机会，助力他们在音乐道路上更进一步。
